Library Initiates Storytime and Monthly Movie Magic
The Owatonna Public Library resumes Storytime Tuesdays and introduces monthly free movie screenings to delight families and strengthen community bonds.
An atmosphere of excitement returns to the Owatonna Public Library with the resumption of Storytime Tuesdays and the introduction of free, monthly movie showings. Starting January 16th, families are welcome to bring their preschoolers for sessions filled with stories and songs at 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. in the Children's Services area.
Mornings of Merriment with Storytime
The long-standing tradition of Storytime Tuesdays sparks excitement among our youngest library-goers, enhancing their mornings with enchanting tales and rhythmic melodies that instill a lifelong passion for literature.
Cinematic Connections
The library extends an open invitation to the Owatonna community for cinematic afternoons, featuring a variety of films meant to captivate audiences of all ages. These screenings, held at 2 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of each month in the third-floor Gainey Room, offer an opportunity for residents to gather, share experiences, and enjoy the power of storytelling on the big screen.
For updated information on movie titles, ratings, and runtimes, the library urges enthusiasts to check their Library News section at owatonna.gov/library. The library remains a cornerstone for fostering a vibrant community spirit through these cherished programs.
