Dive into Summer Fun at River Springs Water Park
Celebrate summer in style with River Springs Water Park's exciting programs for all ages, kicking off June 6!

This summer, Owatonna’s River Springs Water Park is more than just a spot to cool off. Beginning June 6, the Parks & Recreation Department is launching a series of engaging programs catering to a variety of ages and interests, bringing both excitement and fitness opportunities to the community.
Water Aerobics is ideal for those looking to keep fit while enjoying the buoyancy of water. Morning sessions are available for just $4, while evening classes are a mere $5. These classes focus on joint movement and cardiovascular exercise, providing a charge of energy for adults looking to beat the heat while staying active.
For those who prefer a more leisurely pace, Water Walking in the Lazy River offers a serene workout setting. This activity costs $4 and welcomes youth under 16 only when supervised by adults, making it a perfect family-friendly fitness choice.
Log Rolling invites thrill-seekers of all ages to experience the balance and agility challenge of running on water-docked Key Logs. It’s a playful way for families to bond and for participants to develop both physical and mental resilience, reminiscent of a lumberjack tradition.
It's important to note that these programs are subject to cancellation if adverse weather conditions, like lightning or poor visibility due to rain, occur. Participants can check precise class dates and times by visiting owatonna.gov/riversprings.
Owatonna’s River Springs Water Park is where summer memories are made, offering plenty of reasons for locals to dive in and explore what makes this community space a seasonal favorite.
