The City of Owatonna's Street Department is embarking on its 2024 Overlay Project, which includes significant upgrades to four key street segments. The construction will stretch from Rolling Green Drive SE to Paris Place, starting with milling on July 16 and paving on July 22.

Planned Street Segments for Overlay

• Rolling Green Drive SE: From Van Buren Avenue SE to Minnesota Avenue
• Van Buren Avenue SE: From Havana Road to South Street
• Phelps Street: From Harriet Avenue SE to Hillcrest Avenue SE
• Paris Place

Milling, the process of removing the old surface layer, is expected to take approximately three days. Paving, where new asphalt is laid, will immediately follow, weather permitting.
